Last updated: 8 June 2026.

Use of Edith

Edith is for Markdown drafting, review, collaboration, sharing, and related AI workflow support. You must use Edith only for lawful, intended purposes.

Accounts and links

  • You are responsible for your account, login access, workspace membership, and invited reviewers.
  • Review and share links can give access to document content. You are responsible for who receives them.
  • If you use Edith for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you put in Edith. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, transmit, back up, and secure that content so Edith can operate.

Acceptable use

Do not use Edith to break the law, infringe rights, upload harmful content, harass others, send spam, scrape, overload, probe, reverse engineer, bypass controls, or interfere with service security. We may suspend or remove access for misuse, risk, non-payment, or legal reasons.

Paid plans

Paid plan prices, taxes, renewals, limits, and cancellation terms will be shown at checkout, in-product, or in an agreed order. We may change plans or features, with notice where reasonable.

Disclaimers and liability

Edith is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to fees paid for Edith in the previous 12 months, or GBP 100 for free use. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending use and law

You may stop using Edith at any time. We may suspend, terminate, or change the service where needed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
